Rocking Horse Museum

We have over a hundred rocking horses in our remarkable collection and as you wander round the showroom, workshop and Rocking House at Fangfest you will see them - everywhere! Many are well over a hundred years old. They are mostly wooden and the smallest fits in a matchbox, but the largest could easily be ridden by an adult and has extra seats for two children, a three seater. The world's oldest rocking horse dates from around 1605 and though we don't have that one here we do have Anthony Dew's accurate reproduction of it which has been exhibiteded at London's Victoria & Albert Museum alongside the original. It was made for Prince Charles and .... well you can find the full story when you come.
