At The Rocking Horse Shop we have been designing, making & restoring excellent wooden Rocking Horses in the best tradition of english hand craftsmanship for over 33 years and Fangfest gives us the opportunity to open our doors and show you how we do it.
This year we will be carving 'The Largest Hand Carved Working Rocking Horse In The World'! Finished Size 16ft high and 20ft Long! You will get to see how we make such a large Rocking horse.
We also have lots of things going on in our yard including the marquee full of crafts, a traditional fun fair, vintage car rally, archery, clay shooting and we also serve tea and coffee throughout the day which is FREE but we ask you to make a small donation to the NSPCC or St Leonards Hospice. We have MJM Catering from Driffield serving hot and cold snacks and Brigsley Home Made Ice Cream bring their classic vehicle and serve their high class ice cream & sorbet. Also, look out for Blitz one of the 'Elephants on Parade' from London.
